If you are using a PC and intend to use Outlook® to send and receive email, we recommend you enable Outlook Easy Setup before attempting to set up your email.
NOTE: If you registered your domain with another registrar, or are hosting with or using the DNS of another party, you cannot use this feature. This feature is also not compatible with versions of Outlook for Mac®.
Basically, the Outlook Easy Setup feature creates an “autodiscover” entry under the SRV (Service) record in the domain’s Zone file. This record includes all the information Outlook needs to allow you to set up an email account, such as host name and port number. Then, when you set up your Outlook account, all you need to do is enter your email address and password, and the SRV record does the rest!
